A reported strong armed robbery in Bloomfield has police investigating.
The incident happened at around 7 p.m. where police setup a crime scene at The Smoke Shop located in the 500 block of Bloomfield Avenue.
EMS transported one person to Clara Maass Hospital who suffered non-life threatening injuries after reportedly being attacked by three male suspects reports said.
It is not immediately clear if the attacked occurred outside the establishment or if the men attempted to rob the store.
Swift responding police officers arrived and were reportedly assisted by a witness who pointed out one of the suspects who was occupying a vehicle.
Two other men fled the scene on foot and are still at-large.
The investigation is active and on-going.
