Stray Bullets Strike House in Passaic

Police officials in Passaic are looking into the motive for a shots-fired incident that erupted in a section of the city on Tuesday. 

Passaic County authorities reported that at approximately 7:39 p.m., members of the Passaic Police Department were dispatched to the area of Harrison Street and Hope Avenue on a report of a gunshot striking a first-floor residence.

Upon arrival, the police located a crime scene, but no one was injured after a search of the area. Police say the suspect fled the scene and remain at-large. 

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
