One person suffered non-fatal injuries at the scene of a shooting in Paterson Sunday.
According to a preliminary investigation, the early morning shooting happened at approximately 3:40 a.m. in the teen block of Walker Street.
Police arrived at the scene and observed several cars involved in a collision with one car just short of entering the Passaic River.
During the investigation, police learned that a gunshot victim entered St. Joseph's Medical Center's emergency room, suffering gunshot wounds.
Authorities did not release the victim's condition as fatal as 4:30 a.m.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office was notified of the shooting and Paterson Police are trying to determine what transpired during the incident.
No arrests have been reported.
