Springfield Chiropractor Arrested on Charges of Invasion of Privacy, Child Endangerment

Union County Prosecutor William A. Daniel and Springfield Police Chief John Cook announced the arrest of a Springfield chiropractor, Gary Hecht, on charges related to invasion of privacy and child endangerment.

Ice cream Union County officials said Hecht, 55, from Livingston, faces one count of third-degree invasion of privacy and one count of third-degree child endangerment following a Springfield Police Department investigation.

The investigation began on May 6, 2024, when police were alerted to a hidden camera found in a bathroom at Hecht Chiropractic Office, located at 201 Mountain Avenue.

The details surrounding the discovery and the specifics of the charges have not been fully disclosed as the investigation is still active.

Authorities are calling on the public for any additional information regarding the case.
