SoupKitchen411 to Provide Meals to Residents in Bergen, Mercer, Middlesex Counties

Feed NJ, a program by SoupKitchen411, is holding food giveaway events all this week to benefit residents in Bergen, Mercer and Middlesex Counties.

Every day this week they will be giving out restaurant prepared meals at a number of locations free of charge.

  • January 11-15 at 4:30 p.m.: 105 N Fairview Avenue in Paramus, 20 meals each day (100 total) at Paramus Borough Hall at food from Orange Lantern restaurant. Food will be driven or brought straight to folks each day by the borough's volunteers.
  • January 12 at 2:45 p.m: 120 South River Street in Hackensack. 150 meals at Bergen Family Promise, food from Bayway Catering
  • January 15 at 10:30 a.m.: TASK, 72 Escher Street in Trenton. 400 total meals sponsored by Assemblyman Anthony Verrelli and the Rogers Family Foundation of Hamilton. 200 meals from Elissa's Catering LLC and 200 from Broad Street Diner in Hamilton.
  • January 16 at 10:00 a.m.: 2136 Woodbridge Avenue in Edison. 200 meals at Edison Hands of Hope food from TBD

FeedNJ and its partners feed anyone who needs a free meal, no matter their racial or ethnic background, their age, their gender or sexuality, or their culture. By providing meals to those in need, FeedNJ ensures that no individual goes hungry. FeedNJ also has a diverse group of restaurant partners, many of which are minority and women-owned.
