Six Arrested in Alleged Passaic County Drug Distribution Operation

Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes announces that at the conclusion of a four-month investigation conducted by the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force, the below-listed six individuals were arrested and charged with numerous drug distribution related offenses.

This investigation was assisted by members of the Drug Enforcement Administration and the following police departments: Passaic, Clifton, Bogota, and Totowa.

During the month of July 2018, members of the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office Narcotics Task Force received information about a large scale heroin distribution network. As a result of this information, an extensive four-month investigation was launched. Search Warrants were executed for locations in Bergen and Passaic counties resulting in the seizure of one kilogram of uncut heroin, in excess of 3,000 glassine envelopes of heroin, drug packaging equipment, and approximately $40,000. The street value of the heroin recovered is estimated at $100,000.
