Newark Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in a section of the city's South Ward on Tuesday morning.
According to police, at approximately 3:30 a.m., a ShotSpotter activation alerted police of over a dozen rounds of gunfire near 57 Fabyan Place.
Units arrived at the scene and found multiple shell casings, but there were no victims reported after officers searched the area.
Police say the suspect fled the scene and remains at-large.
