Police reported no injuries in a Newark shots-fired incident on Tuesday night.
A ShotSpotter device alerted Newark Police of gunfire that rang out in the area of 66 Hobson street shortly before 11:50 p.m.
Officers arrived in the area and found evidence that a shooting occurred, but no victims were found after police searched the scene.
Police say the suspect fled the area and has not been found.
The investigation remains active and ongoing.
