Overnight reports of shots fired on the Manalapan-Marlboro border has police searching for the suspect responsible.
Several police units responded to the U.S. 9 border after gunfire rang out at around 11:30 p.m. according to preliminary reports.
Officers searched the area for a black or dark colored 4X4 that was last observed occupied by a white male who reportedly fired shots at another driver at that location.
Police located the driver of the other vehicle who did not suffer any injuries.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
