Shootings in Paterson has Police Searching for Suspects; Two Injured

Authorities in Paterson are on the search for suspects responsible for two overnight shootings that happened in the city.

Cops responded to reports of shots fired in the the area of 33rd Street and 18th Ave. shortly before midnight according to reports. Arriving units located one person shot at that location.

EMS transported the victim to St. Josephs Hospital in serious condition.

Police began a search for a dark colored or blue minivan that was observed speeding away from the scene.

In a separate (possibly unrelated) incident, police located a victim suffering an apparent gunshot wound in the 100 block of North Main Street. The victim was transported to the hospital where his injuries were not reported as life threatening.

There is an investigation underway by the Paterson Police Department.
