A male victim suffering a gunshot graze wound walked into Newark's Beth Israel Hospital overnight sparking a police investigation.
Hospital officials contacted police shortly after 1 a.m. when a male victim entered the emergency room injured by gunfire. The victim was immediately treated and was listed in stable condition as of 2 a.m. this morning.
Police setup a crime scene in the area of 16th Ave. and Springfield Ave. where they searched for evidence after the victim reported being shot in that area.
The victim reportedly arrived to the hospital in a taxi cab.
