Police are investigating a shooting that had a man transported to University Hospital in a private vehicle a short time ago.
The victim reportedly walked into University Hospital at around 6:50 p.m. suffering a gunshot wound and was immediately admitted.
Rutgers Police reportedly found a vehicle that the victim occupied on the hospital's property, riddled with several bullet holes. It is unknown where the shooting actually occurred.
The condition of the victim has not been released.
