Elizabeth Police is investigating a shooting that happened late last night in the city.
Police responded to the 800 block of Magnolia Avenue sending police and EMS to the scene where they found a juvenile suffering an apparent gunshot wound to the leg, city officials confirmed this morning.
The victim's injuries were not reported to be life-threatening.
According to preliminary investigations, a group of juveniles was reportedly in the area when a vehicle drove by firing several shots.
The incident remains under investigation.
