Pemberton Township Police are looking into circumstances behind a shooting that injured a person Wednesday night.
According to the investigation, officers responded to the teen block of Begonia Street to investigate reports of shots fired around 9:05 p.m.
Units arrived and found a person suffering a bullet wound at that location.
The victim was rushed to the hospital for treatment and is reportedly in stable condition.
Police have not confirmed social media reports that two males armed with rifles were in the area before the shooting.
The incident is under investigation.
