Authorities in Orange, New Jersey are investigating a shooting that left two men seriously injured Saturday afternoon.

According to information released by the Orange Police Department, officers responded to reports of gunfire at approximately 2:47 p.m. on April 18 in front of 173 Central Place.
Upon arrival, police located a 56-year-old man suffering multiple gunshot wounds, including injuries to both legs, the groin, and the face.
He was treated at the scene before being transported to University Hospital for further medical care.
A second victim, identified as a 30-year-old man, later arrived at CareWell Health Medical Center, where he told authorities he had been involved in the same shooting incident.
Officials said he sustained one gunshot wound to the face and two to his right arm.
Both individuals are currently being treated as victims, according to police.
The suspect fled the scene and remains at large. No additional information about the shooter has been released.

The investigation remains active and ongoing.
