Police in Newark's Upper West Ward are looking for a gunman who fired rounds in one of the communities on Monday.
Late-night gunfire erupted in the 50's block of Oakland Terrace, prompting a police investigation just before 11:10 p.m.
Upon arrival, police found shell casings, but no injuries or extensive property damage were reported at that location.
Police have not released an arrest of the suspect at this time.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
