BREAKING NEWS NEWARK: Shot fired in the area of South 11th and 11th Ave. has police on the scene where a man in his 20's is being rushed to University Hospital after being struck by gunfire. The shooting occurred a shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday evening in the residential neighborhood.
The victim is said to be in "poor" condition.
Police have a crime scene established.
