Burlington County police officials are investigating the motive behind a shooting that left one person seriously injured Monday night.
According to police, reports of shots fired rang out on Brainerd Street around 8:37 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found a male victim bleeding heavily after suffering gunshot injuries at that location.
Police say the unidentified victim was transported to Cooper Medical Center for treatment and remains in serious condition.
There were no arrests reported or a description of a suspect at this time.
