Police are investigating an overnight shooting that left a woman injured in the city.
Police responded to reports of shots fire that rang out in the 60's block of May Street at around 10:45 p.m. Authorities arrived to the scene where the found the woman suffering injury from gunfire.
The woman was transported to an area hospital where she is expected to survive from her injury.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
