Police are on the scene of a shooting that has a man injured in the city's South Ward.
Reports of shots fired in the 50's block of of Cypress Street shortly before 11 a.m. sent police to the scene where they found a man around the age of 50-years-old suffering an apparent gunshot wound to the chest.
The man was rushed to University Hospital where he was reported to be unconscious and unresponsive during his transport.
Police set up a crime scene where they searched for a possible suspect and collected evidence.
