A man that walked into a Jersey City hospital last night has police investigating where the victim suffered his injuries.
Officials at the Jersey City Medical Center contacted police after a male victim suffering multiple gunshot wounds entered the hospital shortly before 1:40 a.m.
According to preliminary reports, the alert and conscious victim was struck to the back upon his arrival.
There is an active investigation underway.
It is not immediately clear if this is the suspect wanted for the Newark Police involved shots fired incident.
