Shooting Injures Two in Jersey City

There is an active search underway for two suspects who are wanted for a shooting that left two people injured this evening in Jersey City.

Police responded to reports of shots fired in the area Ocean Ave. and Forrest Street shortly before 6:30 p.m. where they located the victims suffering injury from gunfire.

A preliminary investigation has a male juvenile suffering a gunshot wound to the shoulder and a female suffering an unspecified gunshot wound.

The victim's injuries are not reported as life threatening at this time.

The suspects are described as two black males one of whom is wearing an olive drab hoodie and blue jeans the other was last seen wearing dark cloths. The pair reportedly fled onto Forrest Ave. towards Randolph Ave.
