Hudson County authorities are investigating a shooting that sent one person to the hospital in Jersey City Wednesday evening.
Jersey City Police responded reports of shots fired that rang out in the 100 block of Grant Avenue before 7:30 p.m. where officers arrived at the scene and found a person struck by bullets.
EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center suffering a non-fatal gunshot wound to the arm according to reports.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. There were no arrests reported.
