EMS transported a man to University Hospital after the man was struck by gunfire in the 800 block of Clinton Ave. a short time ago.
Reports of shots fired shortly before 5 p.m. in the area sent police to the scene where they found the victim injured at that location.
A second person was treated by EMS for injuries not related to gunfire.
Police have a crime scene established and an investigation underway.
