Shooting that Injured One in New Brunswick Under Investigation

Middlesex County officials announced today a shooting that occurred in the city on Thursday evening is under investigation.

According to county officials, on Thursday, January 20, at approximately 7:09 p.m., authorities responded to the area of Throop Avenue and Redmond Street following the report of a shooting. 

County officials stated that upon arrival, officers located one juvenile male who sustained two gunshot wounds. 

The victim was transported to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for his injuries, officials said.
