Police in Newark are investigating a shooting that left a street littered with shell casings overnight.
Police responded to reports of shots fired on the 400 block of Central Ave. at around 12:30 AM and found numerous shell casings and a vehicle located in the middle of the street, shot up at that location.
Authorities checked area hospital for possible victims but none have been found.
