A shooting incident at a Newark West Ward housing development is under investigation by Newark Police.
Gunfire erupted in the area of 200 Georgia King Villages around 2:35 a.m. Sunday morning, and prompted a police investigation.
Upon arrival, police found shell casings, but officials say no victims were located after searching the area.
According to police, the suspect fled the scene through the complex and is at large.
The motive for the shootings is under investigation.
