An investigation is underway into a shooting that left a male victim injured in Elizabeth.
Reports of shots fired sent police to the 100 block of East Jersey Street shortly after 9:30 p.m. where units arrived to find the victim injured from apparent gun fire.
The victim was rushed to University Hospital in Newark an unknown condition.
Police setup a crime scene in the area where they collected evidence.
A motive for the shooting has not been determined.
