Jersey City Police are looking for a gunman who opened fire near a nightclub early Sunday morning.
It happened around 12:15 a.m. near 451 Communipaw Avenue.
Police responded to reports of shots fired in the vicinity of the Factory Night Club, and when officers arrived, they found evidence that a shooting had occurred.
Units canvassing the scene located shell casing, but after searching the area, no injuries were reported.
The shooter fled the scene and is at large.
Police have not confirmed if the incident involved the business at this time.
