Authorities in Newark are on the search for suspects wanted for a shooting in Newark's Central Ward on Wednesday afternoon.
Responders say at approximately 4:35 p.m., gunfire erupted near 375 15th Avenue at South 9th Street.
Officers arrived at the scene and found evidence that a shooting occurred and information that the suspects who fired the gun fled through the yards on South 9th Street and were last seen on South 10th Street.
Police searched the area and marked off shell casings, but no victims were located at the crime scene.
It is not clear who the suspects' targets were at this time.
The incident is under investigation.
