An unidentified person who fell from a bridge into a body of water inside a park in Bloomfield has police investigating what caused the fall.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to Watsessing Park near the Bloomfield Avenue and Conger Street side to investigate reports of an injured person at approximately 9 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found the unidentified person inside a body of water after they fell 15ft from a bridge inside the park according to police.
Medical personnel provided CPR then rushed the victim to the hospital where doctors began other treatment in an attempt to save the victim's life.
The condition of the victim has only been reported as critical and the investigation remains active and ongoing.
