One person suffered severe injuries after a shots fired incident connected on the unidentified person in Plainfield Sunday evening.
It happened before 8:30 p.m. At the Liberty Village Apartment on New Street where gunfire erupted sending police to the scene to investigate.
The Plainfield Police Department has referred all questions to the Union County Prosecutor’s Office who will lead the investigation.
Sources would only confirm with RLS Media that the victim's injuries are life-threatening.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation.
