There were life-threatening injuries reported for a person struck by a vehicle on Route 22 in Bridgewater overnight.
It happened at around 11:50 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of Route 22 near Country Club Road where witnesses made several calls to 911 dispatchers reporting an injured person.
Police and EMS arrived at the scene and found the badly injured person who was struck by a vehicle at that location.
Somerset County Prosecutor's Office detectives were called at the scene to assist in the investigation.
There were no other injuries reported.
