Police reported serious injuries for a pedestrian struck by a vehicle in Jersey City Saturday night.
Authorities said at around 10:55 p.m., police responded to reports of an injured person near 83 Stevens Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found a severely injured unidentified person lying in the roadway at that location.
Police say EMS and paramedics rushed the victim to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment while police investigated the cause of the incident.
There were no other injuries reported.
