Bergen County authorities are investigating after two people were shot early Saturday morning in a section of Englewood.
According to a preliminary statement, officers responded to reports of shots-fired that rang out in the 1000 block of 2nd Street at about 1:15 a.m.
While arriving in the area, police found two men who were shot.
One of the victims was found unconscious and unresponsive, according to the police.
The victims were transported to Englewood Medical Center and Hackensack Univerity Medical Center.
Detectives set up crime scenes on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th streets where officers said shell casings were found at these locations.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
No arrests have been made.
