There were no arrests reported in a shooting that left two people injured in Newark's South Ward overnight.
The early morning shooting had police in the area of Nye Avenue and Osborne Terrace at around 3:30 a.m. where fast responding officers found the victims both suffering multiple gunshot wounds at that location.
The pair were rushed to University Hospital in critical but stable condition according to reports.
Residents reported seeing a reddish colored vehicle speeding away from the scene.
The motive for the shooting and the identity of the victims have not been released by authorities at this time.
