Serious injuries were reported for a woman found shot at a housing development in Trenton on June 18.
According to preliminary reports, the shooting occurred at night, at the Donnelly Homes located in the vicinity of New Willow and Southard streets.
Police say when they arrived at the scene, officers found the unidentified woman suffering bullet wounds.
EMS transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment while detectives closed off a section of the housing development to search for evidence.
The motive for the shooting is under investigation.
