Burlington County police officials are looking into the circumstances surrounding a pedestrian strike that left a person injured in Evesham Township Monday morning.
According to preliminary reports, police were called to the vicinity of 110 Tuckerton Road to investigate an injured person just before 2:35 a.m.
Units arrived and found the victim suffering severe injuries after a car struck the unidentified person at that location. The condition of the victim could only be confirmed as life-threatening as of 4 a.m.
The investigation into the incident remains active and there were no other injuries reported.
