There are serious injuries reported for a person found shot in a neighborhood in Jersey City this evening.
Police were sent to the 20's block of Montgomery Street at around 8:50 p.m. where they located the victim struck by gunfire.
The victim reported being shot at an unidentified location according to reports.
EMS transported the victim to Jersey City Medical Center where the victim's injuries were not immediately reported as life threatening.
Police are investigating.
UPDATE 9:12 p.m. Evidence of that a shooting had occurred was found in the teen block of Merseles. The victim is a male in his early 20's.
