Police in Roselle are investigating an accident where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle Saturday morning.
According to police, it happened in the vicinity of St. George Avenue and Chestnut Street just before 3:30 a.m.
The unidentified person was rushed to Newark's University Hospital in severe condition.
There were no other injuries reported.
