A 66-year-old Linden woman was seriously injured after she was struck by a vehicle this afternoon.
Linden Police said the crash occurred on the 700 block of E. Elizabeth Ave at approximately 12:50 p.m.
Initial reports indicated that a 2020 Cadillac SUV was traveling east on E. Elizabeth Avenue when it jumped the curb and struck the victim on the sidewalk.
Police said she was treated on scene, then transported to Newark University Hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the vehicle, a 66-year-old Linden man, was not injured in the crash.
