EMS transported a senior man suffering a gunshot wound to University Hospital in stable condition after gunfire rang out in the city's upper West Ward on Monday night.
Police said officers responded to the reports of shots fired in the vicinity of 18th Avenue and Alexander Street around 6:40 p.m.
Units arrived at the scene and found a man around 67-years-old suffering a non-life-threatening gunshot wound in his leg after shooters fire shots in the neighborhood.
Police say the suspect fled the scene and is at large.
Authorities have not confirmed if the victim was the target of the shooting at this time.
