School Bus Driver Injured in Montclair Crash

Montclair Police are investigating a crash that involved a school bus in the city Friday morning. 

According to Montclair Police, the collision was reported at 9:06 a.m. at the intersection of Park Street and Wildwood Avenue.

Police say the crash involved a school bus and a passenger vehicle near the intersection. 

The school bus was en route to the Hillside School in Montclair, which is an elementary school located at Hillside Avenue and Orange Road in Montclair. 

At he time of the was occupied by 14 students and one driver police said.

Police said the bus struck a utility pole and a fire hydrant, but no serious injuries were reported. 

The driver of the school bus was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  

According to Montclair Police, there were no injuries reported by any of the students.

This is an active incident and Police/Fire/EMS are still on scene.
