Santa to Drive Through Linden to Bring Holiday Cheer to Residents

Linden

With the pains of Covid and how it has changed how the holidays and special occasions are celebrated, Mayor Derek Armstead and the members of the Mayor’s Youth Commission felt that since they could not have the annual Santa Breakfast for families, they would try and do the next best thing to bring the Spirit of Christmas to children, their parents and all Linden residents.

On Saturday, December 5 and Sunday, December 6, Santa will be riding through the streets of Linden, between the hours of 12 pm and 4 pm, spreading holiday cheer to our children and all Linden residents.

On Saturday Santa will start out at the 8th Ward Recreation Center on Bedle Place off of Park Avenue and will travel through Wards 8th, 5th, 4th, 3rd, and 6th.

On Sunday Santa will start out at the Linden City Hall, 301 N. Wood Avenue and will travel through Wards 7th, 1st, 2nd, 9th and 10th.

He will then end his tour of the town coming down Wood Avenue returning to City Hall.

The Mayor's office and the Youth Commission hope that residents can come and enjoy the Spirit of Christmas with them in Linden.
