Police in Roselle are investigating a shooting that occurred Friday afternoon near East 10th Avenue and Spruce Street.
According to preliminary emergency dispatch reports, officers were called to the area at approximately 3:52 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired.
Initial information indicated that two suspects allegedly fired at a vehicle before fleeing the scene on foot into a nearby park.
Authorities said one of the suspects was reportedly wearing a ski mask at the time of the incident.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was struck by the gunfire, and no injuries were reported in the initial dispatch information.
The motive for the shooting remains under investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Roselle Police Department.
