Roselle Park Encourages Residents to Apply for Union County Emergency Rental Assistance Program

Roselle Park

The Union County Emergency Rental Assistance Program (UC ERAP) has recently reopened, and the Borough of Roselle Park encourages all eligible residents to apply.

According to the Borough, the application process is even simpler this time around, with a new and easy-to-navigate application portal.

The UC ERAP helps Union County residents receive up to 15 months of back rent and utility assistance.

The UC ERAP is partnering with NJ SHARES (New Jersey Statewide Heating Assistance and Referral for Energy Services) to assist with application review and awards.

The aid of NJ SHARES should help to drastically reduce the turnaround time for processing assistance requests.

“The work of the UC ERAP is so important and necessary, and I encourage all eligible residents to consider applying for this assistance,” Mayor Joe Signorello said.

“With the hardships that the COVID-19 pandemic has brought upon everyone, this funding is incredibly helpful for those in need. Thank you to the UC ERAP for providing this funding to Roselle Park residents and all of Union County.”

The UC ERAP application process must be completed by both the tenant and landlord.
