Police were sent to S. Wood Ave. and 12th St. on a report of a fight Sunday at around 2 p.m. Authoritites said A 21-year-old Linden man told officers that he was jumped by two individuals when he walked out of the Krauszer’s Store. The man said the suspects punched the him in his head and face and stole $40.00 from his wallet. The men then fled into a nearby residence, according to the victim.
Responding officers went to the house where they located two suspects. After being identified by the victim, police placed the men under arrest. Robert Reynoso, age 23, and Anthony A. Dasilva, age 22, both of Linden, were charged with second-degree robbery and are being held in lieu of $75,000 cash bail. A court date has been set for January 26th.
The victim was treated at the scene for cuts and bruises by the Linden Fire Department ambulance.
