’Bridge deck replacement and street repaved’
BLOOMFIELD, NJ -- Scheduled maintenance to the Belleville Ave. bridge over the Garden State Parkway which began three weeks ago has been completed, and Belleville Ave. has been re-opened to traffic both ways.
According to Bloomfield Township officials, the westbound lanes have been open to traffic since September 30.
Officials say work involved repaving Belleville Avenue in both directions and bridge deck replacement.
Officials say the construction was paid for by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority, as part of their bridge maintenance program.
