Fire officials in Orange are investigating the cause of a Friday night blaze that displaced seven families, totaling 14 individuals.Crews responded to the 200 block of Center Street shortly before 9 p.m. after reports of a house fire. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered flames coming from a three-story wood-framed home.
Firefighters quickly stretched multiple lines and brought the blaze under control in less than 30 minutes.
Despite their efforts, the home was deemed uninhabitable due to extensive damage.
The American Red Cross stepped in to provide temporary shelter, food, and clothing for the displaced families.
Fortunately, no serious injuries were reported.Local authorities are actively investigating the cause of the fire. As more information becomes available, we will provide further updates.
