On Wednesday night, the Prospect Park Police Department responded to a reported shots fired incident near the intersection of North 7th Street and Brown Avenue just moments before midnight.
Upon their arrival, officers discovered evidence that a shooting had indeed taken place.
However, despite the apparent gunfire, local hospitals did not report any walk-in gunshot victims, and no injuries were observed at the scene.
The suspect involved in the shooting had already fled the area and currently remains at large.
Authorities are actively investigating the motive behind the incident.
Residents and witnesses who may have information regarding the shooting are encouraged to come forward and cooperate with the ongoing investigation.
